I have been trusting Toole’s Garage to service my C250 for the last 3 years now. They’re a knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly family-owned business located on Washington Street in San Carlos. Brad is great to work with and knows his craft. Their online app is great providing helpful information on servicing details, recommendations and pricing. I recommend Toole’s Garage.

Had my fan belt tensioner fail on my way up to San Carlos for work. I brought in the parts and my truck at 8am and they were done that same afternoon. Brad and the crew were awesome for getting me out of a serious bind and getting my truck back on the road. They diagnosed the issue, provided detailed pictures of the work done, cleared diagnostic codes and made sure my truck was road ready. The technician even gave my interior a quick vacuum and wipe down! Huge thank you to all the guys over at Toole’s Garage, you guys rock!!

I searched NextDoor for a new mechanic for a 65k service. I chose three, received quotes and visited for interviews; Ultimately Toole’s earned my business. Their shop is clean, their people are knowledgeable and helpful; their boss shares my values. Now we will take vehicle #2.

Consistently good service on my VW. Been coming here over 3 years after my service contract with the VW dealership ended. Communication is clear, and unnecessary updates/replacements are never recommended.

Toole's is worth every penny. First time trying this place out and they have everything laid out in such a transparent and clear way it's almost unbelievable how they do it. Here is the best part, they step up to plate when it comes to issues and they absolve them, even the smallest ones. I went in for a coolant line replacement and they got the work done fantastically, but I noticed the line was routed improperly, only a cosmetic error, and after talking with Jason he said bring it right back as soon as I can and they'll get it fixed without hesitation. Accountability AND good quality work is really hard to find when it comes to auto shops and Toole's is the only one I've encountered to do both, so hats off to Toole's. Also shoutout to the two guys at the front counter, they were cool and super helpful through this process making it even smoother. Please take your car here.

It's definitely not a place for oil change. They used an oil that isn't recommended for my engine. Oil prices were 5 times more expensive than you find on Amazon, and much more expensive if you buy in bulk as they do. I was offered fuel injection cleaning, as they told: a direct injection engine needs to be cleaned at each service interval. My car has a port injection! And the worst part, the program car to 5000 mile oil change reminder, while recommended is 8000. And I just cannot get it back myself without a reprogramming tool.
