As a gearhead and as someone who's seen a fair share of automotive service centers, I can say that Toole's Garage, at least upon first experience, seems to run a tight ship. They are the indy shop that makes some factory/OEM brands look amateurish in comparison as they come across as professional, keep a tidy service bay/office and treat customers well. That's not always the case in the world of automotive service centers and we shouldn't take it for granted. Thanks for the professionalism.

Took my Jeep in for an oil change and to have my transmission looked at as it's been having issues. I am very happy to report that Toole's did confirm that there was a problem with my transmission but suggested I go back to the dealer (who messed it up in the first place) to fight to get them to fix it. I really appreciated the pictures they provided and the extra information they provided me with so I could talk to the dealer about it. I feel other shops might have just cashed in on my misfortune and fixed the transmission and lined their pockets with the cost of the fix. This was not the case with Toole's and I feel that they are respectful, honest people. I will definitely be bringing my Jeep back for future service!

This response comes after months of thinking about my experience with Tool's. I brought my truck in for repair of my transmission was told they would check it out, was told it just overfilled with fluid and it fixed, not the case, came back they took it in and kept it for a week and was again told it was fixed after replacing parts, again not the case. After the third time it was explained the the computer said it was shifting correctly, clearly had the vehicle been test driven it would have shown it was not. I paid over $554.00 and still wound up with the same problem. Had to take it elsewhere to get it fixed. I am not saying that they didn't try but why charge me for a no fix? I think they need to slow down and not rush to judgement. I like the shop and I like the people but the truth is the truth Mike Myrick

Hi Mike, thank you for the feedback. You are correct. We did not earn 5 stars with your visit. Every once in a while we get a vehicle that really is a head scratcher. We did work hard on your vehicle. We can only hope you know we try our best to not recommend things that are not needed. We went through systematically to address things that we saw as trouble, overfilled fluid, etc. We are happy that the transmission expert you took it to was able to find the internal incorrect valving and wiring problem from a prior rebuild.

We had a catalytic converter replaced there, it was fast and the car drive great. Very happy with the work done and they wher very professional from the start. They emailed me pictures and a video of the issues with the car and explanation of what was going on. We will definitely continue to go to Toole's Garage
